FAQ
When do I need to schedule my maternity and newborn sessions?
I recommend booking as soon as you can! Maternity sessions are recommended between 28-34 weeks. We will find the best time that works for you.
Newborn sessions are generally recommended up to 13 days old but can be taken at anytime within the first few weeks. If you book after that time period, we will still have a chance to capture the newborn magic a few months in! Poses will be age appropriate.
For maternity and newborn, please book as soon as you are ready to ensure I have availability.
Why is there a session fee and what am I paying for?
The $99 session fee is a retainer to book your session with me as well as covers our preparation session to get everything for the actual shoot together! Session fees are non-refundable and will be applied to your final image package.
When will we receive our images?
Your high resolution images will be completed within 3 weeks of the portrait session, unless otherwise agreed upon in our contract.
What prints and wall art can you offer with your packages?
As a mother myself, I know how busy life gets. I want to help you capture your precious memories while also taking the stress away of planning how to bring these precious keepsakes into your home so they do not sit on trapped in your smart phone. Let’s preserve your memories with: mounted prints and custom gallery wall art for the favorite spaces in your home!
If desired, I can also help curate heirloom albums.
Products will be purchased separately in addition to your session package.
Would you offer a package deal if I book 2-3 sessions for my newborn in advance?
Absolutely! My "BABY BUNDLE" package offers a discounted rate when you book a maternity and newborn session at the same time.
Some other portrait sessions that I recommend bundling in advance to take advantage of a 2-package deal are: (1) sitter session scheduled when baby can sit well unassisted (2) baby's 1-year birthday session (3) a cake smash or (4) a personality session
